Avalon and Christian had a small wedding on a Friday, which was really lovely. Not only are they super good looking (doncha think?), but they have a wonderful group of friends to hang out with. And of course, there were some cute kids there, too.

Remember Jaime and Darren? Wiith the iPhones? They just got married in Seattle and guess what... it rained! I was so happy, because I've been wanting to do rainy day photos for a long time. And, as Jaime said, "It just wouldn't be Seattle without rain." I'm glad she had a good attitude about it.

| And this one was right by the railroad tracks, just past the sign that says "Danger Keep Out." Luckily the cop parked close by was sleeping most of the time, and only chased us out after we had gotten some killer wedding party photos. |
| What do you think they were doing with their iPhones on the big day? Jaime was checking the weather every hour, and Darren was writing his vows. |
| Here we are in Post Alley. We went there the day after the wedding to get some more shots in the rain. |
| We also went to this parking structure that was a good shelter from the rain, plus it had great light. Thanks to my buddy Sean Flanigan for telling me about this spot. |
| And then we had to have some breakfast. This is the Cyclops Lounge in Belltown. |
| The ceremony was at the Olympic Sculpture Park, a beautiful place right on the water with lots of big rusty sculptures to photograph. |

| I don't say this often about wedding bands, but this a cappella group Witherspoon was incredible. Whenever they sang, everyone stopped talking to listen. |

Thought I'd take a minute to tell you about a few blogs I read regularly. One is The Sartorialist. It's all about fashion, real fashion on real people in faraway places like Paris, Milan, and New York. I love to see how people put their outfits together, it's one of my favorite forms of expression.
The second blog is called Design Sponge. If you love great design you might get addicted to this. It's mostly about interior design but also has some cool paper products and dishware and stuff.
Then there's my friend Andrea's Superhero Journal which, I promise, will make you a superhero if you read it (plus you can buy her handmade jewelry, I have two of her necklaces myself). It's a old-fashioned blog, the kind where a good writer talks about her life and engages the reader in conversation.
And of course, there's always Cute Overload. No one can ever have a bad day while looking at that.
