| This is Mel and Andre, a very cool couple whose wedding I am covering for Rob Snavely. Rob was struck with encephalitis this year, and some of us are helping cover his weddings for him so that he can still have some income. Mel & Andre's wedding is tomorrow. I have to thank them for putting faith in me since I am not the photographer that they originally hired, and I know they were very disappointed to hear about Rob. However, I felt that when we met we clicked right away and I knew I was going to have a good time working with them. When I saw how much Mel and Andre love each other I knew it was going to be a great shoot. I am really looking forward to their wedding! |

| My assistant Beth and I shot a great wedding at Yosemite last weekend, then drove out to witness this huge forest fire. We could feel the heat on our faces. Who needs a tanning booth? Look at the orange glow of our skin. |

| This was almost as scary as the bear we saw the night before the wedding. Now I know you are going to ask me if I got a good photo of the bear. I didn't. If you need to look at a bear photo you can see one here that looks like the bear we saw. |

Remember Mariko and Tomoyuki's engagement? Well here are a few photos from their sweet wedding at the woodsy Calistoga Ranch. They had a lovely, serene wedding. No dancing or band, just a nice delicious dinner with family and friends. Almost everyone there was Japanese, many came straight from Japan and did not speak English. I'm happy that their first impression of the US was a beautiful place like this!

Click here for the Eco Photo Blog Also, a photo I took of Dean and SuzanneThorsen's baby is on the cover of Common Ground Magazine (this is a nationwide magazine and is called Conscious Choice in Chicago, and Whole Life in Seattle). This is baby Laila. I shot it as a horizontal but they ran it on the cover as a vertical. I thought that was very clever. |
