| Beth has been my office manager since 2007 and she is really my right hand. When you call my office and get a nice friendly answer, that's Beth. She is in charge of all reprints, albums, and production in general. She often shoots with me at weddings because she's a great photographer too.

| Here are Brooke and Kylie and their two adorable dogs, Wrigley and Fenway.
This was my first trial with my new Totally Rad Lightroom Presets. I have been looking for something like this for a while. These presets are like a basic toolbox. They create easy shortcuts for all the usual things you do, BW conversions, contrast, and vignette (5 different kinds!) They also have handy preset dodge, burn, and skin-softening brushes. I don't usually do a lot of fancy effects in lightroom, although Totally Rad comes with those too. (On the swing photo I did use one called "Electric Skies" to pop the blue and it worked great for that photo). I assigned some of my favorites to my DQ Quikeys. Quikeys are an extra little keyboard with buttons for lightroom and PS use. They are EXTREMELY time saving! |

| I am very excited to announce the KuperSkool one day workshop for dog photographers with guest speaker Lena Hyde! We will cover both the business and shooting side of professional dog photography. This may be the most fun workshop I've ever taught. Where? Downtown San Francisco, close to hotels and right next to the ballpark, with panoramic views of the bay. When? August 10th, 9am to 9pm. (breakfast, lunch and dinner are included in the price) What will happen? I will show you a live shoot and then walk through my editing and post production. Who? Anyone who wants to photograph dogs professionally. Registration is limited to 15 people. How much? $800 includes 3 yummy meals. What else? Q&A during meal times. Anything you want to know! I will cover all aspects of shooting such as: • Setting up both portraits and action shots (biscuits anyone?) • Working with different dog personalities (and owner personalities) • Lighting, especially in tough situations (black dog with fur over its eyes? No problem!) • Composition, creativity, and finding your own vision (be a leader, don't follow the pack) I will also cover aspects of running a business including: • Getting clients in and keeping happy clients • Albums, canvases and other products • Time management (overworked anyone?) My special guest Lena Hyde of Design Aglow will also discuss sales, presentation, and how to make products that your clients will love. Lena runs an incredibly successful niche portrait studio in West Palm Beach, Florida where she lives with her husband, two kids and Boston Terrior, Sailor. A $400 deposit is due to reserve your spot and the remaining $400 is due by 7/10. Registration is non refundable. You may transfer your registration to a friend if you are unable to attend.
