| Virginia Hill was my best friend across the street from me when I was growing up in Auburn, AL. We met when we were 5 years old and we played every day until we were 10 years old and her family moved to Mississippi. We stayed pen pals until we were 15 and then lost touch for many years. Last year she found me on facebook. If I am thankful to facebook for anything it's for this. I visited Virginia on my trip to Dallas last week and got to hang out and take photos of her kids. It really warms my heart to see them, because they are now the same age as Virginia and I were when we used to play together.

| I just got back from Dallas where I was on staff at the Foundation Workshop, as I have been every year for the last four years. The Foundation Workshop is a one of a kind experience for wedding photographers who want to shoot like photojournalists. The students all work very hard and learn a lot. It's a great bunch of people and it's where I've made some of my best friends. Here are some photos I took this year. |
